US Airways
US Airways, Inc., an operating organisation of US Airways Group, is the ordinal largest line in the United States.
A member of the Star Alliance, the line has a fleet of 353 mainline jet bomb and 319 regional jet and turbo-prop bomb connecting 200 destinations in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Europe and the Middle East.
As of December 2008, US Airways, headquartered in Tempe, Arizona,[1] employs 33,765 grouping worldwide and operates 3,130 regular flights (1,312 US Airways Mainline, 1,818 US Airways Express as of December 2008).
The line was acquired by USA West Airlines and its partners in 2005, with the new line retentive the US Airways name.[2][3][4]
US Airways operates hubs in Charlotte, Philadelphia and Phoenix. US Airways also maintains focus municipality operations at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, DC and McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas (ending Feb 10).[5]
The line operates the US Airways Shuttle, a US Airways sort which provides hourly service between Boston, New York, and Washington, DC. Regional line service is branded as US Airways Express, operated by lessen and supplementary line companies.
On Nov 23, 2009, US Airways announced the deferment of 54 Airbus commando bomb (A320, A330, A350), allowing them to delay $2.5 billion in capital.
